Good Morning, Delhi !
We start for Agra; lunch En route.  We may see the historical Agra Fort, visit the market / bazaar famous for its handicrafts especially carved in stones, now we see the Jama Masjid (the Great Mosque).
In the afternoon or evening, we feel the splendid experience of the Taj Mahal, the culminated article of the Mughal architecture, a mausoleum built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.  It took more than 20 years to complete the construction of this magnificent structure.  It stands to the greatest reason and logic that the Taj Mahal* remains included in the Seven Wonders of the World.
*Recommendation:  Watch the sunset from the Taj Mahal gardens and with a bit of luck we may observe the changing colors of the white of the Taj with the setting of the sun and arrival of the darkness.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Agra !
We drive towards the historical Fatehpur Sikri (the Abandoned City), palaces complex, built by the the Mughal Emperor Akbar.  But he had to abandon it because of his tasks in the Punjab and, as a few historians claim, due to scarcity of water supply.  But the finest Mughal architecture still remains highlighted in here.
Time to drive to Jaipur (the capital of Rajasthan).  Arranged stay at the selected hotel is provided with.  Jaipur being the gateway of Rajasthan offers wide varieties of palaces, bazaars / markets, unique cinema theater, the Raj Mandir (theater with the maximum seating room), Amer Fort, and obviously Rajasthani traditional dances & folklore, music and desert cuisine are included. We may opt for folkloric dinners to approach music and dance and even luxurious cocktail bars.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Good Morning, Jaipur !
Sightseeing Jaipur remains fascinating with the people around and their lifestyle. Hard working men and women in their historical-cum-traditional dresses, lurching carts drawn by camels and their pleasant lovely nature to interact with outsiders / foreigners remain unparalleled. You love to walk on foot, ride in rickshaws, cars, vans or buses to City Palace Museum, Jaipur Observatory – Jantar Mantar, Palace of Winds – Hawa Mahal and visit Amer Fort on elephant-back.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Pushkar is still an important cameleer center. The holy city of Pushkar is home to one of the few temples dedicated to the creator god Brahma. Performing a pooja or offering in its waters brings visitors good luck. We can continue strolling through its alleys where sadhus and pilgrims abound, as well as enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of Sadar Bazaar. At the end of the day, a sunset behind the ghats offers us an unforgettable view of the lake.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Pushkar !
We have a little time in the morning to observe religious & spiritual things around before we leave for Udaipur.

Lake Pichola and the Aravalli mountain range are the two chief geographical factors that form Udaipur.  We reach here and start observing the surroundings.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Udaipur !
Day to venture into the most luxurious capital of the ancient principalities of Rajasthan. City Palace is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan located at the east bank of Lake Pichola and has 11 (eleven) wonderful palaces built within its complex. We can see a museum and temple(s) within the Palace. The famous Lake Palace in the middle of lake Pichola remains definitely the most attractive and serene sight. Only those who stay in the City Palace can visit the Lake Palace, that had been the setting for the legendary movie of James Bond's Octopussy. We may visit famous Jagdish Temple, dedicated to Vishnu, or the Saheliyon ki Baori, the Garden of the Maidens of Honor, with its lotuses and roses.

Good Morning, Udaipur !
We are all set to leave for Jodhpur and in the way we will come across and observe Ranakpur, world-famous for Jain temples.
In the center of Aravalli mountains we visit Ranakpur, the largest set of Jain temples in India - Chaumukha, Neminath, Parasnath and the Sun temples. The main temple, Chaumukha, dates back to the 15th century and has 29 rooms supported by 1444 marble pillars.

In the afternoon we drive for Jodhpur.  We may reach there at sunset.

Jodhpur known as the Blue City, with an obvious display of different shades of blue all around – palaces, forts, houses, havelis. We visit Meherangarh fortress, which still belongs to the Maharaja of Jodhpur and is embedded in a rock-mountain 125 m high that dominates the city with a simply incredible shape. Enter the Mehran Fort and we are provided with headphones that explain the history of the city and the fort itself in English and Spanish. One of the best luscious Lassi is prepared in Jodhpur – a yogurt blended with cardamom, cinnamon, sugar and saffron – available in the markets of Jodhpur.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Jodhpur !
Well.  We are ready to start for Jaisalmer.
Known as the Golden City. The city’s most prominent attraction is the Jaisalmer FortSonar Quila (the Golden Fort). The Fort is unique because it houses shops, hotels and ancient havelis (homes) where descendants of the masters / rulers continue to live. Jaisalmer abounds in historical and religious monuments that won’t let us down with interest & fascination any way.
Overnight stay at hotel.

The Fortress City of Jaisalmer stands on top of a hill overlooking the desert. Described as a jewel by the merchants of the caravans, it contains havelis (old grand mansions) and the Jaisalmer Fort (the Golden Fort) has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We can visit the Fort, the Megh Durbar and the historical magnificent Jain temples. Outside the walls, another great attraction of Jaisalmer are the havelis or palaces of the merchants. The most significant are those of Patwon ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli and Nathmal JI ki Haveli.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Jaisalmer !
Having our breakfast, we start for Bikaner.  Lunch en route. We have the afternoon available to visit the Fort of Junagarh, a splendid example of palatial architecture.
Bikaner is famous for its grand historical Jain temples. The city is also famous for its schools of miniature paintings. Karni Mata Temple at Deshnok, known for worshiping mice / rats remains bizarre but worth watching.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Bikaner !
We leave for Amritsar (Punjab).  This day of travel  leaves behind the Thar desert. Now we discover the green fields full of canals and great waters of the Punjab. It is the welcome to Punjab, one of the most prosperous states of India. The long trip will have us a reward - the arrival in the city of Amritsar, world famous for the Golden Temple.  Akal Takht at Golden Temple is one of the five highest seats of the Sikhs.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Amritsar !
Amritsar is the home to the historical Golden Temple (one of the five highest seats of the Sikhs), Durgiana Temple (similar architecture to that of the Golden Temple), and Ram Bagh Gardens (Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s residence for summer), Jallianwala Bagh (a historical spot of one of the most infamous massacres in the India’s War of Freedom) and the Wagha Border between India & Pakistan – famous for its daily ceremony. And obviously, all these sites will be visited during the course of the day.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Amritsar !
We are prepared to leave for Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh). Surrounded by cedar forests at the edge of the Himalayas, Dharamshala is home to Dalai Lama, the chief representative of Tibetan Buddhism. This hillside city and its surroundings are reminiscent of Tibetan Buddhism and, therefore, we come into contact with this community like nowhere else outside Tibet. We see magnificent rice-fields and women dressed in a hundred colors working therein.
We stay at Mcleod Ganj, popularly known as the “Little Lhasa” because it has been the headquarters of the Tibetan government-in-exile.
Overnight stay in hotel.

McLeod Ganj it being the crossroad(s) allows us to make pleasant walks. From the village, a short walk takes us to the Temple of the Dalai Lama (the chief of the Tibetan Buddhism), his official residence. We may learn a few things about prayer and meditation here. Tibetan monks and nuns are always kind and cooperative towards any inquiries about their religion and philosophy*.

*Recommendation: Attend the dialectic exercises that take place in the afternoons in the Dalai Lama Temple. The young monks engage in discussions about the topics of study with a peculiar form of debate.

We may visit Bhagsunag a famous waterfall in here.
Overnight stay in hotel.

Good Morning, Dharamshala !
With blessings from the Buddhist monks we now proceed towards the capital of Punjab and Haryana, a union territory of India, Chandigarh.
We descend to the plain(s). Chandigarh is an example of the modernizing desires of Independent India. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru commissioned Le Corbusier to design a city that would demonstrate the will &  desires of the young Republic to bet on development and rationality. Chandigarh is a superfine experiment with its rationalist urbanism, its landscaped areas and its concrete architecture, and the locals claim that it is a great place to live in. It's worth a visit to the Rock Garden and the Rose Garden.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Chandigarh !
We leave for the Ganges at Haridwar (Uttarakhand).
The sacred river that crosses the north of India becomes holy especially with Hindu rituals & rites at Haridwar and Rishikesh.  It seems an obvious joiner to the mysticism.
Haridwar is one of the four pilgrimage places of the magnificent, mysterious Kumbh Mela over the period of 12 years, i.e., every four years the pilgrimage place is changed among the four definite pilgrimage places.
Thousands of people from all over the world come here to trace, add and improve entries in their family-tree records that have been preserved for hundreds of years by the designated priests.  This phenomenon remains peculiar and somewhat bizarre too.
In the evening we are ready to watch the unique Aarti at Har ki Pauri that is fire worship  devoted to Lord Shiva, Mother Ganga and the powers of the Universe.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Hardiwar !
We are ready to move on towards Rishikesh only 22 km from Hardiwar.
We  dedicate the day to know Rishikesh, known as the City of the Divine.
This is a center for yoga and meditation and temples and ashrams are meant for the purpose. The Beatles stayed here for a yoga training in February 1968 and made it famous for foreigners, but Rishikesh has been a pilgrimage and spiritual retirement for centuries. You will see dozens of ashrams where you can practice the meditation and the different branches of yoga. An experience of being in the lap of Mother Nature.
The nuclei of Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula are articulated around two large suspension bridges over the Ganges.
Evening means the Aarti at the Ganges (fire worship) and must not be missed.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Rishikesh !
Now we leave the Himalayas and the Ganges to be back to the National Capital Delhi.

We may reach Delhi almost at sunset.  But allow ourselves to dine at Connaught Place or the bohemian enclave of Hauz Khas village that offer gastronomic and traditional meals too - varied and vast.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Delhi !
If you wish, we may visit India Gate, the Presidential Place, Gandhi Museum.
We may enter the alleys of Old Delhi to observe the old patterns of living in here.  We can visit the Jama Masjid and the Red Fort too.
Well.  Time now to retreat to the hotel for a little rest and packing the luggage.
Finally transit to the airport - already arranged.  We bid a sweet goodbye to you at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi – you embrace the finest experience & memories of India and leave for your home.

End of our services.
