Good Morning, Delhi !
We are prepared to see the historical Red Fort and Jama Masjid. The capital of India is an obvious book of history and sizzling modern living. Take your first steps into the narrow alleys of Old Delhi; observe the magnificent urbanism and architecture of New Delhi; and conclude with some of the happening areas, where you could try the best of Indian food and feel the heartbeat of this peculiar megacity.

Delhi to Amritsar (By Train): In the evening, we  get the train to the holy city of Amritsar. Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Amritsar and the entire Punjab !
Amritsar is the home to the historical Golden Temple (one of the five highest seats of the Sikhs), Durgiana Temple (similar architecture to that of the Golden Temple), and Ram Bagh Gardens (Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s residence for summer), Jallianwala Bagh (a historical spot of one of the most infamous massacres in the India’s War of Freedom) and the Wagha Border between India & Pakistan – famous for its daily ceremony. And obviously, all these sites will be visited during the course of the day.

Good Morning, India !
After breakfast, we start our drive to Bikaner with lunch en route. This is a long journey that takes us to the deserted region of Thar, along the border with Pakistan. In the evening, we reach Bikaner.

The tour to Bikaner will take us to the wonderful Junagarh Fort, Deshnoke Temple (the Karni Mata Mandir) and a Camel Breeding / Research Farm. The Karni Mata Mandir has been unique with its bizarre pattern of worshipping mice / rats.

We will start the day driving to Jaisalmer – The Citadel City.
Jaisalmer is a former medieval trading center in the heart of the Thar Desert. Known as the "Golden City," it's distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture.  This is a city worth watching and enjoying in a relaxed mood & walk. The social environment of the city will make us feel in the times of camel caravans.

Good Morning, Jaisalmer !
Our city tour will cover Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila, the Golden Fort), built on the highest point of the Trikuta Hill, the Sun Gate. Outstanding features of the citadel are Megh Durbar and its various temples. Out of the walls we find the Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli & Patwon–Ki-Haveli, some of the most beautiful grand mansions with stone carving and lattice work of breathtaking intricacy and the Lodurva / Lodhurva village with masterpieces of architectural grandeur. In the evening we visit Khuri sand dunes. The ripples on the wind caressed dunes create enchanting mirages. Adventure freaks can go out on a camel safari getting the real feel of the desert on the camel back.
Overnight stay at hotel.

After Breakfast we drive to Jodhpur, the Blue City. Distinguished unique by the Mehrangarh fort, unsurpassed in beauty & grandeur, there is no exaggeration in Rudyard Kipling describing the fort as “A Palace that might have been built by Titans and colored by the morning sun”. Jodhpur is famous for the blue color of many of its houses. The Fort, one of the biggest in India has innumerable palaces, interspersed with sprawling courtyards, and is intricately carved. Jaswant Thada / Jaswanthada, the 19th century royal cenotaph, a creation in white marble, and the Clock Tower are other spots that remain worth a visit.

The way to Udaipur will take us to cross the Aravalli Range of mountains. Beautiful landscapes and a jewel of the Jain heritage: Ranakpur Temple. It is a pilgrimage site and tourist centre of Rajasthan. In fact the Ranakpur temples form one of the five major pilgrimages of the Jains and we find there a few of the best masterpieces of the Jain tradition and architecture. In the evening we reach Udaipur and have dinner at the nearby lake.

Good Morning, Udaipur !
Day to venture into the most luxurious capital of the ancient principalities of Rajasthan. City Palace is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan located at the east bank of Lake Pichola and has 11 (eleven) wonderful palaces built within its complex. We can see a museum and temple(s) within the Palace. The famous Lake Palace in the middle of lake Pichola remains definitely the most attractive and serene sight. Only those who stay in the City Palace can visit the Lake Palace, which had been the setting for the legendary movie of James Bond's Octopussy. We may visit famous Jagdish Temple, dedicated to Vishnu, or the Saheliyon ki Baori, the Garden of the Maidens of Honor, with its lotuses and roses.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, the World of Brahma !
Today, we drive to Pushkar, the holy city of Brahma. The legend tells that Brahma complained to the gods, since he was the only god who did not have a holy city. Then the gods threw a flower to decide what place on the Earth should be devoted to Brahma, and if fell on Pushkar. The lake is the centre of this town where people from the entire region gathers to perform rituals to the gods and ask their favors. The sunset in Pushkar is something to be memorized.

Good Morning, Pushkar and Lord Brahma !
In the morning we take a sightseeing visit covering Jagatpita (Father of the world) Shri Brahma’s Temple, the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in India. We may be consumed in the vivid pattern of life at this pilgrimage centre.
Later we head towards Jaipur and in the way at Ajmer we would not miss the Dargah of Sufi Saint Moinuddin Chishti known as Ajmer Sharif Dargah / Ajmer Dargah / Ajmer Sharif or Dargah Sharif. We reach the capital of Rajasthan in the late afternoon, settle in the hotel and take advantage of the wide offer of activities for leisure; from cinema to traditional dances and music or the best of the desert cuisine.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day for sightseeing the Pink City, capital of Rajasthan. Sightseeing Jaipur remains fascinating with the people around and their lifestyle. Hard working men and women in their historical-cum-traditional dresses, lurching carts drawn by camels and their pleasant lovely nature to interact with outsiders / foreigners remain unparalleled. Graceful women in swirling skirts and veils of red, yellow, orange and magenta, laden with silver jewelry, straight tall men in turbans are a fascinating sight of the heritage here. You love to walk on foot, ride in rickshaws, cars, vans or buses to City Palace Museum, Jaipur Observatory – Jantar Mantar, Palace of Winds – Hawa Mahal and visit Amer Fort on elephant-back.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Jaipur !
Departure from Jaipur towards Agra. Halfway, stop at the Abandoned City of Fatehpur Sikri, the Palace Complex that Emperor Akbar had built as a new capital for the Mughal Empire. But he abandoned the city because of the tasks in the Punjab and as a few historians claim, due to scarcity of water supply. The whole complex is built of red sandstone with the most elegant carvings. We will continue to Agra.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, the City of the Taj !
We wake up early to admire the unique Taj Mahal, the culminated article in Mughal architecture, built between 1631 and 1658 by Emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Agra Fort too may be visited.

AGRA TO DELHI: In the afternoon we start for Delhi to keep the evening almost free for roaming around or relaxing.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Delhi !
We start for Haridwar to meet the Ganges, the ever Holy River for the Hindus with the ghats where millions of Hindus find their families’ ancestral records and family-trees with their designated / appointee sort of priests / pandas. This is one river in India where millions of millions of people perform their puja / religious / family rites every day almost 24 X 7. Bathing in the Ganges has been considered purifying souls, day or night.
Haridwar is one of the four pilgrimage places of the magnificent, mysterious Kumbh Mela over the period of 12 years, i.e., every four years the pilgrimage place is changed among the four definite pilgrimage places.
Meals in Haridwar remain varied, but of course, mainly vegetarian with many sweet dishes.

HARIDWAR TO RISHIKESH: In the evening we start for Rishikesh. We somehow keep ourselves free to move around. Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, Rishikesh !
This is a center for yoga & meditation and temples & ashrams are meant for the purpose. The Beatles stayed here for a yoga training in February 1968 and made it famous for foreigners, but Rishikesh has been a pilgrimage and spiritual retirement for centuries. You will see dozens of ashrams where you can practice the meditation and the different branches of yoga. An experience of being in the lap of Mother Nature.Evening means the Aarti at the Ganges (fire worship) and must not be missed.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Good Morning, India !
We invite you today to soak in the Ganges. Upstream there are several places where holy men used to live. The river has quiet places to have a bath in the mountain clean waters. It can be a refreshing and fulfilling experience surrounded by the amazing landscapes of Himalayas’ first elevations. In the evening, don’t miss the chance to have a real Ayurvedic massage at  center(s) at Laxman Jhula.
