BANDIPUR NATIONAL PARK KARNATAKA

Bandipur National Park exists in 874 square kilometers and has been home-cum-ecology for Indian elephants, spotted deer, antelopes, sort of sizeable population of tigers, and many species of local animals / birds. It had been once a private hunting ground(s) for the Maharajas of Mysore (Karnataka). But now it has been one of the most beautiful and superbly managed national parks of India. Deep lush forests of Deccan Plateau and Western Ghats make this park one of the most beautiful national parks in India. Wild dogs, wild boars, panthers, Malabar squirrels, porcupines, jackals and birds like jungle fowls and green pigeons too are the bonafide residents in here. Wildlife Safari in the park is available.  The park is at a distance of 75 kilometers from Mysore and 220 kilometers from Bengaluru (the capital of Karnataka). There are many resorts in the park that suit to our convenience and of course, budget.
